Take advantage of GO Transit services this Canada Day, offering exciting travel options for your holiday festivities. We’ve added new bus stops to Route 17, with service now stopping in Kitchener at Victoria St. at Lackner Blvd. and in Waterloo at University Ave. at Weber St. Additionally, seasonal bus service to Canada’s Wonderland has returned for the season. Routes 47 and 52 serve Canada’s Wonderland on weekends until Sunday, August 30, making it easier to keep the Canadiana going with a fun-filled day at the park. With affordable options like Kids GO Free and the $10 One-Day Weekend Pass, celebrating Canada Day has never been more convenient!

Once you're energized, walk along the picturesque waterfront and then stroll through the vibrant Canada Day Festival from noon to 10 PM on July 1st, 2026. Start your day by hopping onto the GO Transit train, which makes the journey to West Harbour GO.
