On Saturday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 21, GO train service on Lakeshore East will be adjusted due to planned construction. GO buses will replace train service between Durham College Oshawa and Pickering GO stations. Lakeshore East GO train service will run between Pickering GO and Union Station. Additionally, on Friday Sept. 19, some late-night service will be adjusted.
Friday, Sept. 19
Westbound:
There are no changes to westbound service on this day.
Eastbound:
- Train trips departing Union Station at 12:20 a.m. and 12:50 a.m. will end at Pickering GO.
- GO buses will be available at Pickering GO to Ajax, Whitby, and Durham College Oshawa GO.
- GO bus route 90F will run express from Pickering to Durham College Oshawa GO.
- GO bus route 90Z will make all stops between Pickering and Durham College Oshawa GO.
Saturday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 21
Westbound:
- GO trains will depart from Pickering GO one minute earlier than regularly scheduled.
- You will have 10 to 15 minutes to connect to GO buses at Pickering GO.
- GO bus route 90F runs express between Durham College Oshawa and Pickering GO.
- GO bus route 90Z makes all stops between Durham College Oshawa and Pickering GO.
- You will need to arrive at Durham College Oshawa, Whitby, or Ajax GO between 20 and 35 minutes earlier to arrive at Union Station in time to make your usual train connections or arrival time.
Eastbound:
- All trains will depart Union Station one minute later than regularly scheduled and will end at Pickering GO.
- GO buses will be available at Pickering GO to Ajax, Whitby, and Durham College Oshawa GO.
- GO bus route 90F runs express between Pickering and Durham College Oshawa GO.
- GO bus route 90Z makes all stops between Pickering and Durham College Oshawa GO.
- If you’re travelling beyond Pickering GO, you can expect to arrive at your destination between 20 and 35 minutes later than usual.
Route 88
Southbound:
- If you're travelling on GO bus route 88 and transferring to a replacement bus at Durham College Oshawa GO, you’ll have a 12 to 17-minute connection. You can expect to arrive at Union Station about 30 minutes later than usual.
- The 5:44 a.m. bus from Trent University to Durham College Oshawa GO has been adjusted to depart at 5:24 a.m., 20-minutes earlier than regularly scheduled. The bus is scheduled to arrive at Durham College Oshawa GO at 7:04 a.m. You will have 7-minutes to connect to bus replacements upon arriving at Durham College Oshawa GO.
- The 9:44 p.m. bus from Trent University has been adjusted to depart at 9:24 p.m., 20-minutes earlier than regularly scheduled. The bus is scheduled to arrive at Durham College Oshawa GO at 11:04 p.m. You will have 7-minutes to connect to bus replacements upon arriving at Durham College Oshawa GO.
- To arrive at or before the same time as usual, you’re encouraged to take an earlier route 88 trip.
Northbound:
- If you're connecting to GO bus route 88 at Durham College Oshawa GO, you'll have a 6-to-16-minute connection to the replacement GO buses.
- The 10:00 a.m. bus from Durham College Oshawa GO has been adjusted to depart at 9:35 a.m., 25 minutes earlier than regularly scheduled. Please note: If you're travelling from Union Station, you will need to take the 8:20 a.m. GO bus from Union Station Bus Terminal, scheduled to arrive at Durham College Oshawa GO at 9:20 a.m.
- To catch your usual route 88, you'll need to take the train 30 minutes earlier than normal.
- Please note: If you miss the earlier train, you'll have to wait about 65 minutes at Durham College Oshawa GO for the next northbound bus.
Replacement GO buses may depart at different times than regularly scheduled train service and bus connections may be affected.
Regular train service will resume Monday, Sept. 22.
